In 1868,Hyogo Port(Current Kobe Port) was opened. The city of Kobe has been developed mainly from this port. In the city of Kobe, we have dealt with paper and paper products since the Meiji Era and the Taisho Era.
  Kashiwai Shigyo Co.,Ltd, and Yokoyama Kamiten (Current Yokoyama Co., Ltd) merged their departments dealing with Kokuyo's products to meet the demands of the times and established a sales company of Kokuyo's products in areas around Kobe.
1970:Kokuyo Kobe was established with 54 millon Yen in capital.
1981:The construction of the warehouse in Hanshin Distribution Center ( Yamaguchi-cho, Nishinomiya) was completed.
1987:The headquarters building was purchased.
1995:the company suffered extensive damage from Great Hanshin Earthquake but recovered quickly. Since then,Hanshin Distribution Center has been used as the main distribution base.
1999:Papyrus Company was established as a subsidiary of Kokuyo Kobe to enter the Net business.
2001:Seven companies dealing only with Kokuyo's products in Kinki were merged into Kokuyo Kinki Sales Co.,Ltd.
2002:The company was merged with a subsidiary,Papyrus company,and the corportate name was changed to Papyrus Company.
2004:In China, Kobe Adhesive Product (Shenzhen) Company was established in independent capital.
